Both-mode runs two parallel generations — one image batch + one video batch sharing the same scenes.
Drift Studio — Persona creation
Creating a persona with 5 reference images costs 6 credits total (5 extractions + 1 aggregation). Reference uploads themselves are free; the credit lands when you click Extract.
Drift Studio — Persona iteration
A persona with 8 references costs 8 credits to refresh after you swap or add references. Manual scenes (typed by hand) are free — credits only land when AI work runs against the scene.

Questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month — cancel from your billing portal and you keep paid-tier access until the end of the period. A retention offer (one month free) appears on cancel if you haven’t used it before.
What happens to my credits if I downgrade?
Your tier credits stay on the account through the end of the paid-period reset. After that, you’re on the destination tier’s allotment going forward. Pack credits never expire and stack on top — they survive any tier change.
What's Resident for?
Resident ($5/month) is the entry-level paid tier — it unlocks upload, selling, and Stripe payouts without committing to a monthly credit allotment. You get 100 credits one-time on signup; after that, buy credit packs as you need them, or upgrade to Artist (200 credits/month) when Studio becomes your daily tool. Same caps + fees as Artist; the only difference is how Studio credits flow.
What's the difference between Standard and Premium models?
Standard is fast, high-quality, and the default for every plan — Drift Studio + Pulse use it for prompt generation, voice refinement, and synthesis. Premium routes the same calls to a larger model (available on Artist Pro): deeper reasoning, richer prose, more nuance — at a higher per-call credit cost.
What does the platform fee mean?
When you sell a Recipe, Blueprint, or Persona, Drift takes a percentage of the sale price; the rest goes to your Stripe payouts. On a $10 marketplace sale, an Artist nets $8.00 (20% fee); an Artist Pro nets $9.50 (5% fee). Tips and fan subscriptions use the 12% / 5% split. No fees apply to buying — only to receiving.
Why approval to publish?
Drift Gallery curates who shows up on /explore and the artist directory to keep the work coherent. Anyone can pay for an Artist plan and use Drift Studio + Pulse for private projects today; approval unlocks publishing and listing. Apply once you’re ready.
What's the difference between buying credits and upgrading?
Upgrading raises your monthly tier allotment (200 → 500), reduces marketplace fees, and unlocks higher upload limits, more storage, more personas, and Premium model access. Credit packs are a one-time top-up — they don’t change your tier or fees, they just add credits that never expire on top of whatever you’ve got.
