Storm Mage

She floats. Not metaphorically — her feet have left the ground entirely, and the storm that surrounds her isn't weather she's enduring but weather she's becoming. Electrical energy spirals outward from her outstretched hands in currents of white and violet-blue, and the same energy whips through her curly hair, lifting it in directions that have nothing to do with wind. Her expression is focused, almost serene — this isn't effort, it's release. The costume is simple: draped blue fabric, leather belts at the waist, arm wraps. Functional. The magic doesn't need ornamentation. The entire palette is storm-system blue — slate, cobalt, electric white — with her skin providing the only warmth in the composition. Cloud masses swirl behind her like a satellite photograph of a hurricane, and she is the eye.
