Nocturne in Blue

Flowing organic forms in every shade of blue — cobalt, cerulean, navy, teal, midnight — contained by copper-toned leading that curves with Art Nouveau fluidity. A single warm accent, a sliver of amber, catches light in the lower right like a distant lamp through a window. The shapes suggest leaves or water or simply the movement of night air, abstracted into glass. The composition is meditative: large confident shapes, unhurried curves, the kind of calm that only deep blue can provide. The glass textures vary from smooth and translucent to frosted and dense. A nocturne played in light and lead.
