Population Bloom

A continent of data rises from the navy void. The form reads like a landmass photographed from orbit — but instead of terrain, it's built from millions of particles, each one a data point representing a human life. Dense urban clusters bloom in hot magenta and pink where populations concentrate, their forms organic and coral-like. Surrounding them, cooler cyan and teal particles fan outward in sparser arrangements — suburban sprawl rendered as a thinning particle field. Small text annotations float at the margins: axis labels, data categories, the scaffolding of scientific visualization still visible beneath the art. The whole structure hovers against deep navy, backlit, casting no shadow. It's simultaneously a population map, a biological specimen, and something that could hang in a natural history museum as evidence of what happened when seven billion organisms chose where to live.
