Twilight Radiance

A golden orb — the sun at the exact moment of setting — sits at the composition's center, rendered in luminous amber glass that glows with pure backlight. Concentric arches in graduating jewel tones — orange, red, ruby — radiate outward and upward like a rainbow or a halo. Below, cool teal and blue rectangular panels provide the counterweight of approaching night. The geometry is bold and Art Deco in character: clean arches, confident rectangles, the precision of an architect who works in glass. The transition from warm to cool is the subject itself — that liminal moment when day becomes night, captured and made permanent in lead and enamel.
