Fractured Sky

A sunset over water — but every cloud, every gradient, every wave is a piece of stained glass. The sky moves from deep indigo and cobalt at the top through lavender, rose, and peach to blazing amber at the horizon. Below, a dark river or sea reflects the warm light. Each cloud is its own panel, the organic shapes contained by fine black leading that somehow makes the natural forms feel more deliberate, more sacred. The color transitions are achieved not through blending but through adjacency — dozens of individually colored panels placed side by side to create the illusion of atmospheric gradient. A sunset made eternal in glass.
