Botanical Refraction

Tulip-like flowers rise on slender stems — each petal a single piece of luminous glass in orange, blue-violet, ruby, or teal. The backlighting catches each petal differently: some glow warm from behind, others are cool and translucent. Leaves in aquamarine and emerald curve between the stems. The leading follows the natural forms with botanical precision, each seam tracing a petal edge or leaf vein. The composition is vertical, the flowers reaching upward like a garden seen through a cathedral window. The glass texture is delicate — thinner, more translucent than the abstract works, letting more light through. Flowers made sacred by the medium that holds them.
