Heartbeat of the City

A city seen from above, but not the city you know. The buildings are there — rendered in neon teal and cyan as geometric columns rising from the dark — but they're secondary to the rivers of data flowing between them. Hot magenta streams trace traffic arteries, their brightness pulsing where congestion peaks. Gold and amber threads weave through the blocks like capillaries: electricity consumption, water flow, the metabolic systems of urban life made luminous. Where the data streams converge at major intersections, the colors white-out into overexposed brilliance. The composition reads as aerial photography crossed with thermal imaging crossed with pure abstraction — a metropolis reduced to its information layer, the physical city stripped away to reveal the flowing, pulsing nervous system underneath. Every building is a node. Every street is a data pipe. The city doesn't sleep because the data never stops.
