Light Leak Memory

A silhouetted profile emerges through bars of warm amber light — window mullions casting their geometry across the figure like a cage made of sunshine. The film stock has degraded beautifully: teal bleeds in from the right edge, the grain is heavy and organic, and the entire image feels suspended between photograph and painting. The figure is caught mid-turn, hair lit from behind in a golden halo. You can't tell if this is a portrait or a memory of one. The camera's failure becomes the image's greatest asset.
