Gestural Study

A diagonal sweep of ultramarine and yellow ochre collides across the paper in a single confident gesture. Black ink splatters trace the arc of the brush's movement — velocity made visible. The marks are layered: charcoal beneath watercolor beneath ink, each medium preserving a different moment in the composition's evolution. White paper erupts through gaps in the paint, breathing space into the density. No attempt at representation. Pure process. The hand's speed and the water's patience in a single frame.
