Mycorrhizal Symbiosis

A sculptural cross-section of forest soil — golden root channels branch and subdivide, each filled with densely woven filaments of teal, copper, and sienna. At the exchange nodes, tiny amber and gold droplets bead like dew, marking the molecular handshakes where tree and fungus trade nutrients. The rendering is three-dimensional, almost architectural: channels have depth, walls have thickness. You can see down into the mycelial web filling each compartment. A biological circuit board, engineered by evolution, presented as art.
