Threshold

A doorway framed in deep ultramarine darkness opens onto a golden sunset landscape. The interior is almost black—rich blues and deep shadows—while through the opening, warm light spills across the floor like liquid amber. Vegetation and distant hills glow beyond the threshold. The contrast between the known darkness of the room and the luminous unknown beyond creates a visceral tension between safety and possibility.
