A flat-lay arrangement on pale wood — every object placed with museum precision. Two vinyl records sit side by side: one black, one gold. A brass telegraph key anchors the center, flanked by a large dial with a worn face. Surrounding them: knurled brass knobs, a copper cylinder, a glass-domed vacuum tube still glowing faintly, a wooden box with a small meter, bottles of unknown compounds. The objects are real enough to touch — patina on every brass surface, wear marks on every toggle. A catalog of the analog future's toolkit, laid out for inventory. No labels needed. Every object explains itself through its shape.
